As Pastors of King’s Cross Church, we are committed to shepherding our people with the love of Christ. Led by the staff pastors and supported by a team of lay pastors (elders) and staff, we are focused on helping you grow in faith and find support in life’s challenges. There are times of bereavement surrounding the loss of a loved one when pastors are needed to comfort the family and facilitate the funeral services. It is in these times that the pastors of King’s Cross Church are ready and available to serve the needs of the bereaved. But there are also times of joy and gladness around the marriage of two faith family members. The pastors of King’s Cross Church are more than happy to officiate these wonderful occasions.
King’s Cross Church mainly accomplishes the overall shepherding of the church by assigning each of the staff and lay pastors a group of covenant members organized mainly through our Community Groups. Each Community Group has a specific pastor who is tasked with personally shepherding the members in that group. For those members not in a group a specific pastor is taken with personally shepherding them. So every member has a pastor who really knows them and is there for them.
The Bible tells us the importance of seeking wise counsel. When we make plans, lack wisdom, or face struggles in life, we should seek the Lord. But there are certain life events where a pastor is also needed. Our pastoral team is ready to pray with you, visit you in the hospital, help you face struggles, or just chat over coffee about what’s on your heart. We are here to point you to Jesus, whether you’re celebrating a new baby or navigating a crisis.
